As we step into 2026, everyone at Figure of Eight Education is focused on one thing: starting the year strong and supporting students to thrive in 2026.
The beginning of a new year can bring mixed emotions for young people. For some, it’s a fresh start filled with motivation and optimism. For others, it can feel overwhelming—especially for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), those experiencing school anxiety, or young people who need a more bespoke alternative education provision.
At Figure of Eight Education, we understand that no two learners are the same. Our team is ready to support students through individualised learning programmes, outreach tuition, and small-group or 1:1 education, helping them rebuild confidence, re-establish routines, and make positive progress at their own pace.

This Spring term, we’re continuing to work closely with parents, schools, and local authorities to provide flexible, nurturing education for students in Key Stages 2–4 and Post-16. Whether a child is transitioning back into mainstream education, needs short-term intervention, or benefits from a more therapeutic learning environment, our goal is always the same: to help students feel safe, supported, and successful.

Starting the year on the right foot means putting the right support in place early. If you’re a parent or school exploring alternative provision, SEMH support, or specialist tuition, we’d love to talk.
