Alternative Education Programme

Figure of Eight Education offers a successful solution to the provision of education for pupils who are risk of exclusion and for other pupils who, because of illness or other reasons, would not receive suitable education.

Our Programme

Our Programme

The Figure of Eight Education Programme delivers personalised tutoring for students ranging from KS2 to KS4. We provide comprehensive support for all learners, whether they are pursuing core GCSE subjects or focusing on primary numeracy and literacy. Our goal is to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to reach their full potential through a fresh, dynamic, and innovative approach to learning. We create a tailored programme designed specifically for each student's needs. Our experienced and qualified tutors are well-versed in various examination board requirements, and all our resources align with the National Curriculum while supporting the National Literacy and Numeracy Frameworks.

Our KS3 programme is designed to facilitate a successful and lasting transition back to full-time mainstream education. This programme allows students to benefit from Figure of Eight Education services while remaining connected to their school community.

Students participating in this programme can engage for one or two school terms, receiving mentorship and a personalised development plan to help them achieve their goals and ensure they are ready for school.

We use key indicators—attendance, engagement, willingness, interaction and behaviour—to assess students' readiness for school.

Our centre offers a relaxed and informal educational environment where students come first, helping to eliminate barriers to learning. Our team of teachers brings a fresh and dynamic approach to education, instilling a passion and love for learning in many students.
